Interoperability
The increased demand for joining up national and international infrastructure involves military forces and government departments and agencies. This means that disparate systems must be able to connect together and share information securely. At the strategic level of command, improved networks and greater interoperability enables better cross-government planning and more effective management and direction of campaigns. At a tactical level, interoperability leads to force-wide sharing and understanding, coupled with improved collaborative working.
All Nexor software is written to conform to standards and is internationally renowned for its ability to enable secure information transfer within and between organisations. As a consequence of the standards-conformant nature of the software, it is used as the reference implementation for interoperability testing by the NCC in the UK, NATO and by JTIC in the US.
Nexor provides a range of capability designed to facilitate interoperability between systems that have disparate security policies and communication protocols:
- Multi-protocol gateway technologies
- Secure inter- and intra-domain gateways
- High assurance border protection devices
- Content checking and verification technology
Nexor’s technology and services may be used off-the-shelf or customised to address any interoperability challenge.
