Nexor achieves Entrust Ready Status for Directory

Ottawa, Canada, 16 October 2001 - Nexor, an innovative supplier of secure electronic messaging and directory products, today announced that its leading-edge directory technology has achieved Entrust Ready status. The Entrust Ready designation applies to products that have been reviewed for compatibility and interoperability with Entrust Authority v5.1.

Nexor Directory is a high-performance and scaleable directory that can store and provide access to the public-key and certificate revocation lists needed for authenticating the senders and recipients of encrypted information. The Entrust Authority™ product portfolio represents the backbone of Entrust's enhanced Internet security offerings and enables identification, entitlements, verification and privacy with security management across enterprise, web portal and VPN applications. 'We are delighted to grant Entrust Ready status to Nexor Directory,' said Charlene Acres, Director, Partner Solutions, Entrust Technologies Limited. 'Entrust Authority software is capable of interoperating with many Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) directories to allow ease of use and leverage existing customer infrastructures.'

Nexor Directory supports the latest X.500 protocols, as well as LDAP. Users benefit from enhanced access to one central repository of information and to a global source of directory data from other organisations.

'Achieving the Entrust Ready designation is a significant milestone for Nexor Directory,' said Steve Kingan, Chief Executive, Nexor. 'We are able to offer our customer-tested integration with Entrust Authority software and add value to our messaging and directory solutions.'

Nexor Directory 4.1 has successfully completed Entrust Ready interoperability testing with Entrust Authority 5.1 software and achieved the designation for this version.
